10 Duets for 2 Violas
Erwin Jacobs, DE (*1936)
Difficulty level: 2 (Easy)
The musical language is - like our everyday language - brought here and connected to the classical-romantic tradition. I have chosen the flower names of the duets arbitrarily; they can stimulate the imagination, but are not to be understood as a program. The individual pieces are short and manageable, but of varying character. They do not require any special playing skills and can serve especially music lovers for stimulation and pleasure. It was important to me, however, to arrange both voices as equal and rhythmically independent.
