Giuseppe Tartini(1692–1770)

Giuseppe Tartini founded his own music school in the northern Italian city of Padua, which attracted musicians from all over Europe. After the death of his wife, he lived in a shared apartment with the cellist Antonio Vandini, whom he knew from Prague and for whom he composed his cello concertos.
